Welcome to the Extra Alarm Association
Home Page!

The Extra Alarm Association of the Twin Cities, Inc. is a non-profit corporation that serves as the local fire buff organization in the St. Paul & Minneapolis, Minnesota (U.S.A.) area known as the "Twin Cities".

Our primary function is to support the Twin City area fire departments in any way we can. We also publish a highly regarded bi-monthly newsletter, "The Extra Alarmer", make annual donations to the Burn Centers at Regions Hospital (St. Paul), and Hennepin County Medical Center (Minneapolis), and assist in the coordination of the annual Burnsville Fire Muster. We are members of the International Fire Buff Associates, Inc., which consists of 87 member organizations throughout North America. The Extra Alarm Association was founded in 1974 (hence the number "74" on the fire alarm box in our logo).
